48 x 36” acrylic on panel
A bouquet of flowers frequented by native bees and butterflies. All of these: fennel, aster, alyssum, lion’s tail, coreopsis daisy, alstromerica, coneflower, and butterfly bush, can be planted in your garden to help pollinators. I let the bees and butterflies choose the palette on this one; the flowers are painted in their natural colors. I added the indigo and lighter blues to balance out all those hot colors.
