48 x 36” resin, metal leaf and pigment on canvas
These paintings are created by making paint out of resin then applying it to canvas. Each color is applied separately. The artist has the task of anticipating and directing the motion of the resin, which continues to move after it is applied. This understanding of the movement of the medium comes from many years of practice. This medium allows the artist to create beautiful and dynamic works of art that look like they are still in liquid motion.
