Nature’s Embrace
48 x 80 acrylic on wood panel
Two dogwood boughs with their branches entwined offering shelter to cedar waxwings, purple finches, goldfinches, cardinals, and Eastern bluebirds. All these birds have symbiotic relationships with the dogwood tree. They eat its fruit and help to keep insect populations in balance on the tree. The natural community takes care of its members and by doing so, takes care of itself. We have a lot to learn about this give and take type of relationship
