Left to Her Own Devices
48 x 80 x 3
acrylic on wood panel
A dogwood bough with Eastern bluebirds. Fifty percent of the Eastern bluebirds diet is made up of dogwood berries in the Summer and fall. Eastern bluebirds also have a veracious appetite for insects and help t keep these populations in balance, helping to ensure the vitality of the dogwood. Nature has a way of keeping it all together when she’s left to her own devices.
