Crowded House II - sold
48 x 36 acrylic on wood panel
A pink flowering dogwood with some of the birds it has a mutualistic relationship with including evening grossbeak, cardinals, Eastern bluebirds, red bellied woodpeckers and purple finches. Dogwood trees produce berries that feed many birds and small mammals including flying squirrels. These species help to spread the pollen of the dogwood aiding in wind pollination. They also help to keep important insect populations in balance.
