This series celebrates trees and their role in the greater ecosystem.
They are often paired with birds in this series, highlighting the symbiotic relationships trees have with their avian counterparts.

These paintings are created by making paint out of resin then applying it to canvas. Each color is applied separately. The artist has the task of anticipating and directing the motion of the resin, which continues to move after it is applied. This understanding of the movement of the medium comes from thousands of hours of dedicated practice of this art form and allows the artist to create beautiful and dynamic works of art that look like they are still in liquid motion.
